Saturday Indesign 2026 brought a vibrant day of design, conversation and connection to the Euroluce Sydney showroom.   Throughout the day, we welcomed architects, interior designers, students, design enthusiasts and industry friends into our showroom to explore Sensory Surface, Where Light, Sound & Material Meet.   Our concept explored the way lighting, sound and material can influence how we experience and interact with a space. Rather than simply looking at individual products, we wanted visitors to experience lighting as part of a broader sensory environment.

Last Thursday evening, we opened the doors of the Euroluce Sydney showroom for a special preview ahead of Saturday Indesign 2026 — bringing together leading architects, interior designers, industry creatives and friends of Euroluce for an evening of design, conversation and inspiration. In collaboration with Bolon and Bang & Olufsen, the evening explored the ideas behind this year’s Saturday Indesign theme: The Sensory Surface — looking at the way light, sound and material influence how we experience and connect with a space. Brisbane.

Join Euroluce, Bolon and Bang & Olufsen for Sensory Surface - an immersive installation and live panel discussion exploring how light, sound and material shape the way we experience space. Great architecture isn’t only seen - its felt.

An evolution of Noctambule (2019) by Konstantin Grcic, Nocturne is a refined, discreet presence. Its controlled emission illuminates without glare, creating calibrated reflections and transparencies. Light is enhanced as it passes through the glass, while the structure embodies a clear architectural language.

With Maap, designer Erwan Bouroullec realises a long-held ambition: to create a broad, immersive surface of light. Geometry provides the starting point, yet each installation introduces an element of unpredictability, as the diffuser must be crumpled by hand, forming a microstructure that stabilises the lamp and brings it to life.

Stix System, designed by Juliette van Putten for Unonovosette, has received the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 in the Product Design, Lighting category.
