Patrick Lourie

Patrick has been working in lighting for the last 18 years. He started his career in New Zealand working as an Architectural Lighting Consultant, before moving to London, where he spent 8 years working on globally acclaimed projects with some of the world’s leading Architects, Interior Designers, and Lighting Designers, whilst representing FLOS. He then made the move to Australia in 2019 to become the National Brand Manager at Euroluce where he has instilled his passion and knowledge, not only in his team but throughout the industry.

Ian Wijaya Joined Casambi June 2022, in the role of Business Development Manager for Australia and New Zealand. A seasoned professional with a passion for lighting technology and business development with over a decade of experience in the industry, Ian has left an indelible mark on various projects, both large and small. Beginning his  lighting journey back in 2010 he has witnessed the evolution of lighting technologies, from traditional systems to cutting-edge innovations.

Donn Salisbury

Director, Electrolight

Director of Electrolight, Donn’s 20+ years experience in lighting design exhibits a combination of creativity, innovation and accolades. A leader in the field of lighting, Donn’s track record delivering some of the past decades most celebrated projects is testament to his reputation in the industry. With backgrounds in both visual arts and engineering, coupled with a passion for lighting and the visual realm, Donn’s insight drives his team toward modernism of illumination design in the built environment and the world of light art. This approach has gained the respect of his peers, affirmed by the receipt of multiple awards.

Catriona Venn

Senior Lighting Designer, Electrolight

With over a decade of design experience both in Australia and Italy, Catriona has worked within many facets of the industry. This experience has provided her with a variety of opportunities and tools by which to diversify her skills and creativity. Her knowledge and experience in creating original custom luminaires and lighting schemes span a range of sectors, through residential, hospitality, commercial, the arts and entertainment.

Ryan Shamier

Senior Lighting Designer, Electrolight

Ryan’s combination of creativity and comprehensive technical expertise make him an invaluable asset to the Electrolight team.  Ryan’s drive and passion have seen him receive numerous awards and accolades in both the lighting design and engineering fields over his career.

At age 26, Ryan was the youngest ever winner of the ACT Engineering Excellence Awards for his work on sustainable lighting control solutions for office environment. Since this time his creative work in lighting design has won him many awards. Ryan has a Masters of Design Science in Illumination Design from the University of Sydney and an Honours Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Queensland.

Rosa Arcaya

Senior Lighting Designer, Electrolight

Rosa has lit up spaces for high profile companies worldwide, boasting a portfolio with projects of varying scales across numerous countries. Rosa earned her Masters in Illumination Science from the University of Sydney in 2015 before taking off to the vibrant design hub of London for almost 7 years. Now back in Australia, she is ready to channel the wealth of experience gained from the big-city know-how and infuse it into her work in Australia.

Her creativity is deeply rooted in her desire to enhance human connections, to intensify our relationships and experiences through the work we create together. She brings a fearlessness and resilience to her work, willing to challenge conventional norms and embrace new ideas with enthusiasm.
