We are excited to announce that we are moving to a new warehouse to better serve our customers. During this transition, we will be pausing order fulfilment from 17th June to 1st July.
At Euroluce, Oluce unveiled an installation in collaboration with architect Ferruccio Laviani. The stand was designed as a surreal and evocative place, with strong architectural references and a colour palette dominated by warm and vivid hues. It evoked an emotional architecture inspired by De Chirico's enigmatic paintings, where walkways and corridors intersected with staircases and arched passages, enhanced by extremely intense colours. Inside, domestic areas and display spaces alternated to recount the new products and collections, where Oluce lamps illuminated, decorated, and expressed a stylistic and aesthetic narrative.
The event unveiling new products for 2023 expanding a range of indoor table and floor lamps conceived by Italian and international designers including Marco Cervelleri, Giulia Di Lorenzo, Giamono Montini, Victor Vasilev, Bellucci Mazzoni Progetti, Quaglio Simoneli and the iconic Vico Magistretti.
Oluce embarked on a new chapter, looking towards the future and embracing the creativity of young Italian talents in their first partnership with the company: Marco Cervelleri, Giulia Di Lorenzo, and Giacomo Montini.
From this exciting collaboration emerged the lamp known as Calamaio, boasting extreme minimalism and unmatched freedom of movement. This desk lamp is designed to bring light precisely where it is needed, courtesy of its rotating head mounted on a mobile structure.
The collaboration between Oluce and angelettiruzza grew stronger, resulting in the creation of a lamp that embodies a balanced and refined presence, exuding innate elegance without any hint of pretension. Meet Dora, a range of indoor lamps that harmoniously combines the warmth of the glass diffuser with the poised equilibrium of the metal body supporting it. This delightful juxtaposition creates a lamp with an antique soul and strong references to classical lines, especially evident in the lampshade design, which undergoes a modern transformation through the minimalism of the metal stem and base. Its distinguishing feature lies in its subtle essentiality.
One of this year's notable collaborations is with the Italian designer duo, Andrea Quaglio and Manuela Simonelli, known professionally as Quaglio-Simonelli. With their extensive experience in furniture design and other creative endeavors, they present Medusa, a captivating glass table lamp crafted for Oluce. The lamp's concept revolves around the ingenious fusion of a metal dome into a cylinder, resulting in a truly unique design.
The grand unveiling of new products at Euroluce 2023 concludes with a remarkable rendition of Oluce's iconic masterpiece - the Atollo lamp, originally designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, now reintroduced in a stunning new variant: satin black nickel.
