QT Perth Hotel is a new luxury hotel in the heart of Perth, set on the corner of Barrack Street and Murray Street, with 185 rooms, a stunning rooftop bar and Italian restaurant, Santini.

Founder, David Seargeant has brought together this new QT hotel with the collaboration of Candalepas & Associates on architecture, Nic Graham & Associates on front of house interiors and Indyk Architects on guest room and apartment interiors. The design was strongly influenced by the West Australian landscape colour and finishes palette, that convey a sense of opulence and comfort together with the luxurious textiles.

The lighting designers Flaming Beacon, chose the iconic bronze Oluce Atollo in reception together with the Reggiani Mood downlight and Yori Evo Box, both in standard and warm dimming version.

“The lighting concept was to explore concepts related to the brand identity of fun, flair and quirky sophistication through lighting. The atmosphere was to be comfortable and progressively theatrical as day became night, requiring the use of precision, deep dimming lighting equipment” Andrew Jaques, The Flaming Beacon
