LAYAN architects design for the Light House is an alteration and addition to a Victorian worker’s cottage, integrating the large private central courtyard, to bring natural light and ventilation into the core of the home, situated in the inner-city of Melbourne.
The lighting for this project was considered more than most, with the client being a director at the reputable lighting design company The Flaming Beacon, meticulous in selecting and designing the lighting system and fittings.
The design incorporates the Reggiani Mood Adjustable Round, distributed in different rooms, to offer discreet but powerful lighting, complementing the natural light coming from the large glass windows. The adjustable product creates brilliant accent lighting for different environments. The lighting output and aesthetics are a high standard, featuring multiple optics and a full range of accessories.
