ALBERT PARK, MELBOURNE
Project Type: Residential
Architect: Robson Rak, Melbourne
Products Used: Flos Find Me Mono Point, Flos String Light Cone and Flos String Light Sphere
Architects Robson Rak designed a contemporary family residence by conjoining the existing weatherboard home with the former stables, by creating a modern glass connection in this Albert Park Residence, Melbourne. The design kept a neutral colour palette with Art being an integral part of the design, the owners wanting a gallery style space to showcase their pieces, as well as providing a low maintenance and comfortable interiors for the busy family.
“We aimed to create a space that was going to be able to stand the test of time, and not require updating in the near future. Opting for timeless and hardwearing materials and finishes; the hope is that the project maintains its style and personality for many years to come”
Robson Rak incorporated the FIND ME MONO POINT adjustable recessed downlights in the family kitchen. Designed by Jorge Herrera for FLOS Architectural, these lights comprise of a slender rotational, tiltable and retractable aluminium stem containing a spot optic, a dedicated LED light source and are available in 2 body sizes.
